SCHONBRUNN, AUSTRIA – APRIL 12: Yang Yang and Long Hui caught on camera having sex at the Zoological Garden, Schnbrunn, Austria.
Pandas, Yang Yang and Long Hui have become the first European Pandas to be caught on camera while having sex. Their keepers knew all the symptoms this time and were with their video camera. Yang Yang didn’t eat much and marked a lot. Lon Hui was watching her all the time until she finally called him and they began to mate.
Female Pandas are only able to mate for 2 or 3 days a year. If the mating was successful she will give birth in about 3 to 6 month.
Long Hui’s birth on the 23rd of August 2007 in the zoo of Schnbrunn was a Sensation. He was the first Panda that had been conceived naturally in Europe.
