The Pig Society
“I’d never noticed it before,” admits farmer Angus Wode, “then the wife started pointing it out. ‘Look’, she said, ‘that one looks like the Prime Minister. And that one looks just like that Nick Leg.’”
Mr. Wode’s remote farm in Leicestershire has turned into a veritable pilgrimage site as media and public alike scramble for a glimpse of the prize pigs that bear an uncanny resemblance to the nation’s leaders.
“It’s a mystery to me how they’ve come to look like that,” admits Mr. Wode, “I have been trying out an experimental new feeding system where these pigs do less, so the others do more, even though the others get less. But I can’t see how that would have anything to do with it.”
