These trainers cost more than you’ve ever paid for a pair of shoes and have been accused of ‘glorifying poverty’

Notice the ‘crumply, hold it all together tape’ and the ‘retro low profile with signature sidewall star and grungy rubber capsule’.

But most importantly, have a look at the price tag.

That’s £400 in case you were wondering, which is more than we’ve ever spent on a pair of shoes (and maybe you too).

Not surprisingly they have been accused of ‘glorifying poverty’ and reminded some people of this line from Zoolander, the Ben Stiller film with an uncanny knack for predicting the future.

“Let me show you Derelicte. It is a fashion, a way of life inspired by the very homeless, the vagrants, the crack whores that make this wonderful city so unique.”
