Brexiter Tim Martin wants Brexit’s ‘f***ing tariffs’ cancelled to help business – 11 resounding facepalms
Tim Martin, founder and chairman of Wetherspoons, occasionally takes time out of his busy Question Time schedule to leave a trail of self-owns on the internet that’s visible from space.
Who can forget the time the outspoken Brexiter called for special visas for hospitality staff so that Brexit wouldn’t damage his pub chain?
Or the time he cut prices in Wetherspoons before Brexit to show that he’d be able to cut prices after Brexit. Hmmm…
In an interview in The Times, he both insisted that Brexit was the right path, and had a sweary rant about the tariffs which have been caused by – you guessed it – Brexit.
