Behold, the most brilliantly sh*t-stirring map of ‘England’ ever made

The never-ending argument about where the North starts on the map of England took a hilarious turn with some Grade A sh*t-stirring from u/PhiphyL, who took to r/england, saying –

“As a foreigner, I thought you would appreciate a neutral observant to end this silly debate once and for all. I think I’m ready to apply for British citizenship.”

Here’s their solution.

Here’s how Redditors reacted.

You’ve pissed off everyone in one go.

Welcome to the U.K.

Technically this earns you citizenship because we all hate each other. An attack of this magnitude and quality on so many gains you immediate recognition as one of us.

I’m scots and really wanted to be raging… but he’s not wrong really.

You are ready to bring Europe into war, I’m afraid haha.

This seems to be some English people’s interpretation of Cornwall, too. Had a friend who was going on holiday to Cornwall, when I asked where they said Ilfracombe which is in the Devon bit of Cornwall.

His innocence is his weapon

Instead of ‘Wales’, label it as ‘England’ and see what happens. I dare you.

Edit: just saw your label of ‘Northern England’. You’re already dead.

Unacceptable, straight to jail.

Citizenship denied indefinitely.

As an Irishwoman, I winced.

I’m a bonny wee lad from Northern England.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I spotted the Falklands.

AnAngryBadger pointed out that not everyone came out of it badly.

The Cornish are probably pretty chuffed with their overnight takeover of Devon tbf.
