Never let it be said that Nigel Farage isn’t a man of the people.

That’s only if by ‘man of the people’ you mean ‘man who accepted an undeclared £5m gift from a billionaire backer before he became an MP and saw no reason to tell anyone about it’.

And while we hesitate to use the phrase ‘mainstream media’ it’s fair to say your usual suspects haven’t exactly been falling over themselves to cover it.
