Current season of hit TV show “US Presidential election” extended until 2019

Broadcasters have announced that the current season of the hit show “US Presidential election” has proved so popular that its run will be extended to 2019.

“It really is a bold move on the part of the networks,” said one US TV commentator. “We haven’t even got near the mid-season finale of the current run and it has already been greenlit for another three years. Clearly people can’t get enough of it!”

Critics and the public alike have praised the cast of sinister, scheming characters and underhanded treachery.

“I just can’t get enough of it,” tweeted one fan. “Watching the continual slide of American politics into a giant steaming cesspit of name calling makes this the best show on TV right now.”

“It’s tough avoiding spoilers online,” said another. “But I always binge-watch these things, and I’ve booked a week off in June so I can catch up on the Primaries. Just me, a couch and plenty of tissues to weep into.”
