Milo Yiannopoulos permanently banned from Twitter: the seven most joyous internet reactions
The big news on Twitter today is that right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos has received a permanent ban from Twitter after allegedly inciting various people to racially abuse Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones.
With over 300,000 followers, this is a serious blow to Yiannopoulos who uses it to build his brand far beyond the readers of the Breitbart site where he works.
Milo – who made a career by being a giggling schoolboy lobbing turds into the swimming pool and then laughing at the reaction he gets – laughably told Breitbart “This is the end for Twitter. Anyone who cares about free speech has been sent a clear message: you’re not welcome on Twitter.”
However the reaction on Twitter has been huge – basically loads of journalists whooping and giggling about the ban – here’s seven of the best:

Miss @nero on twitter? Simply pretend a troll doll has an ego the size of a moon and is constantly spouting racism, it's uncanny.

Milo claims to be "winning the culture war", much like a kid who's constantly shitting in the pool is "winning the triathlon"

If you think a private business banning Milo is a 1st Amendment issue, you understand neither business or the 1st Amendment.

It’ll be interesting to see how this pans out – is this the end of Milo – or will this, as supporter contest, only make him stronger?
