A pilot used their flight path to draw a bin off the coast of Clacton, and won the unofficial by-election campaign originality award

It’s three days to the Clacton by-election, at the time of writing, and it’s all go on the campaign front.

Frontrunner Nigel Farage has just launched Reform’s new policy, promising to send overseas-born prisoners to jails in El Salvador, which is hardly a surprise from the Trump wannabe.

Count Binface, on the other hand, simply pledged to try and improve things for the people of Clacton and – shock, horror – actually turn up in the constituency.

In an unexpected bonus for the Count, a pilot traced a bin off the coast of Clacton, which is appropriately unusual for a candidate from outer space.

This is how it happened.

Tweeters loved the creativity.

Mr Farage has something of a traumatic history with light aircraft. This probably won’t help.
