The evidence mounts that Stranger Things is a prequel to Parks & Recreation

Ahh the internet, full of kittens, trolls and wild fan theories. The latest (lighthearted) one suggests that Stranger Things is set in the same universe as Parks & Recreation.

EXHIBIT 1 – Steve from Stranger Things is Jean Ralphio’s dad

Many were quick to point out that Steve Harrington – the big haired, pointy eyebrowed, member of the Barb abandoning crew is clearly the father of the equally cocky Jean-Ralphio Saperstein from Parks & Rec.

Need we say more, it’s clear that waffle-obsession and blonde hair is no mere coincidence. You’ll now agree that the evidence is overwhelming that Stranger Things is actually a prequel to Parks & Recreation.
