South Korea goes Game of Thrones for its election coverage. Any chance we could do the same on 8 June?
It’s election day in South Korea and the country’s leading national TV station SBS is covering the whole thing like an episode of Game of Thrones.

Lessons to be learned for the BBC’s David Dimbleby and Jeremy Vine, surely, with the ‘swingometer’ looking distinctly old hat compared to some of this stuff.

And it’s not only Game of Thrones. They do Mortal Kombat and, er, some racing car thing as well.

That’s not to say that the BBC hasn’t tried something different in the past. Remember “calamity Clegg”?
Probably best stick with the swingometer.
