Nadine Dorries called James O’Brien sexist and these 13 responses make a very good point

Your gender doesn’t give you the right to constantly lie and mislead the public.

Thing is Nadine – we really aren’t a “mob” – we are serious-minded people concerned about our country & who know how much damage you are doing to it.
As a back bencher, you have a duty to be informed & know what you are voting for & the implications of it
You clearly don’t

James O’Brien treats everyone, male and female, who lied and deceived the nation over Brexit, and who continue to do so, with equal contempt, as we all should, so enough with the petty remarks.

James O’Brien is a well-informed journalist who does an excellent job. He isn’t a bully and he most certainly isn’t sexist. He just objects to your political views, Nadine Dorries – and so do I. Stop playing the victim: as a politician you should expect to engage in debate.

As one woman to another, Nads, it’s really pathetic when you play the ‘look at the sexists’ when you are called out on your errors. You’re an MP, in a position of power – and when you’re wrong, it’s not because you’re a woman, it’s because you’re simply wrong.

It wasn’t all negative feedback for the MP, however. She also received a message of support from Darren Grimes, the pro-Brexit campaigner who was fined £20,000 by the Electoral Commission for breaking their spending rules.
Council estate girl who pulled herself up by her bootstraps to go on to become a best seller and MP or a self described champagne socialist? I know which one I’d be prouder of.

We’re sure that will change everybody’s mind.
