Nigel Farage left his Peterborough by-election defeat in a very different style to the way he arrived
You probably have all you need to know about Nigel Farage already, but just in case you don’t … this really does tell you all you need to know about the Brexit party leader.
As you’ll be aware by now, Farage’s Brexit party missed out on probably its best opportunity to have an MP elected after it lost to Labour in the Peterborough by-election.

And this is how he left. But before you watch, let Alex Andreou seat the scene.
All you need to know about Farage: When he thought the BxP won Peterborough he showed up at the count. Once he realised they hadn’t, he hid in the loo from reporters, then left by a side door before result was announced, instead of supporting his candidate or answering questions.

The clip’s already gone viral, and here’s just a flavour of what people were saying about it.
Pure Trumpism – take credit for any victory as your own, avoid any embarrassment when it's a loss. He'll be criticising the candidate before long.

To be fair he had to be up early this morning to appear back-to-back on the BBC.
