Limmy let Twitter pick which party he’ll vote for and Labour’s response was 10/10
Comedian Limmy, or Brian Limond – to give him his Sunday name – is a man who marches to the beat of his own drum. His sketches are quirky, his tweets are out on their own, and his method of choosing who to vote for in the general election is …well, unconventional.

As you can see, Twitter chose Labour, so Limmy confirmed he’d honour the poll.
The results are in. You have decided that in this General Election I'll be voting LABOUR. https://t.co/DAhPm1nY1d

We have no idea whether Limmy lives in a marginal seat, so the whole thing may be moot, but we do know that Labour’s response was a rare example of a political party’s social media manager getting it absolutely spot-on.
Had the pleasure of meeting Limmy out canvassing at the election. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny. https://t.co/d7xR52bN3M

Which is a phrase Limmy likes to roll out whenever a celebrity dies, and why his own response was the icing on the cake.
Oh no, what have I done? https://t.co/KMCQce2wyN
