Trump’s in full tantrum mode after a judge ordered a pause on his precious ballroom, pending Congressional approval – 21 reactions that are dripping with schadenfreude

Trump’s enormous ballroom is his pride and joy. In the absence of that Nobel Peace Prize he’s definitely never winning, he clearly believes this massive alteration to the White House buildings will form a major part of his legacy, and he just won’t shut up about it.

He had the East Wing of the White House demolished without warning, then lied about the size, position and cost of the ballroom, so it was no surprise when the body entrusted with the preservation of historical buildings and monuments took legal action.

A George W. Bush-appointed judge, Richard Leon, ordered the work on the ballroom to stop until Trump gains Congressional approval.

In a delightfully snarky moment, he pointed out that the Orange Buffoon doesn’t own the place.

Trump must have tripped over his own feet running to Truth Social.

He later gave reporters the benefit of his legal opinion.

Sure, Jan. In double-quick time, his lawyers had filed an appeal.

We wouldn’t advise anyone to hold their breath waiting for him to call off the construction team. He’s not known for following judicial instructions. Strangely, he’s also not known for suffering any repercussions for ignoring them.

Tweeters were quick to comment, and it wasn’t a love-fest.
