People have got the hump with Charles and Camilla for laughing at traditional Inuit ‘throat singing’
The so-called heir to the throne and his wife greatly enjoyed a display of Inuit throat singing during their recent visit to Canada.
So much so that they couldn’t help but piss themselves laughing. In all fairness to them, it does make for a rather strange spectacle.
Maybe it took Charles back to his goon days. Or maybe it reminded them of what they got up to the previous night. Or maybe it just brought back uncomfortable memories of Rolf Harris.
Either way, some people weren’t happy.
Thanks for so clearly demonstrating your ignorance and prejudicial attitudes towards First Nations https://t.co/hBMA6glPJj @ClarenceHouse

C'mon #Camilla & #Charles. Show respect, not laughter, for this #music art form. https://t.co/OwQJnpOliv #inuit #throatsinging

But hang on a minute, someone said it’s SUPPOSED to be funny.
I went and looked up this type of performance and this is part of what it said……”The first to run out of breath or be unable to maintain the pace of the other singer will start to LAUGH or simply stop and will thus be eliminated from the GAME”. So how is it that so many people are up in arms over a game. And you can clearly hear one of the gal laugh near the very end.
Time to take a breather.
