‘Fact me till I fart!’ – It’s 25 years since ‘The Day Today’ hit our screens. Here are some highlights.

We can hardly believe that it’s 25 years since ‘The Day Today’ first appeared on TV to change the way we watch the news forever. It’s creation involved some of the best comedy talent in the UK all of whose careers have gone from strength to strength:- Chris Morris, David Schneider, Rebecca Front, Armando Ianucci, Steve Coogan, Patrick Marber, Doon Mackichan, Graham Linehan.

It also gave us some of the best names of characters the world has ever seen: Peter O’Hanraha-hanrahan, Collaterlie Sisters, Ted Maul, Suki Bapswent et al…
