Richard Osman’s cryptic tweet prompted some very funny and confusing replies
Richard Osman’s Twitter feed is never less than entertaining, mostly very funny and occasionally just plain unexpected.
Like this one, for instance.
Took us a little bit too long to work our way through that, if we’re honest.
Fortunately for us there were plenty of people around who got it quicker than we did, and their replies were very funny (and occasionally even more mysterious).

It's weird how that's so much easier to read when it's also upside down!

This person’s a tough critic, though.
Not only was reading this through very annoying, but the missed apostrophe for 'its' was just so hard to bear
— Will Rogers (@Will_JRogers) February 28, 2019
Here’s what Richard had to say about it later.
The replies to this are hurting my brain, and I deserve that entirely. (I wrote this one backwards).
— Richard Osman (@richardosman) February 28, 2019
Sounds like you regret it, on reflection.

Turns out he’s got nothing on Kate Robbins.
I can ‘mirror write’ ( backwards ) as fast as I can write normally, forwards. A weird and totally useless talent. When I was 4 apparently I ‘mirror wrote’ most things. People test me and ask me to do arbitrary sentences. It’s no problem.
I’m just strange.— Kate Robbins (@KateRobbins) February 28, 2019
