Is it even Pancake Day if you haven’t watched Danny John-Jules sing “PPPPPPPP-Pancake Day”?
Over the years, a fine internet tradition has blossomed, involving a classic of the golden age of children’s television – the annual viewing of the Pancake Day song from Maid Marian and Her Merry Men.
The hilarious series created by Tony Robinson, was supposedly aimed at children, but had plenty of appeal for adults, with an excellent cast including everybody’s favourite Cat, Danny John-Jules.
Here we see his character, Barrington, singing the Pancake Day song – feel free to join in.
Twitter didn’t forget.
