Boris Johnson’s Tory leadership campaign took him to a garden centre in Sevenoaks, Kent, the sort of Tory heartland place where surely he would be guaranteed the warmest of welcomes?

Well, not necessarily, as the PM-in-waiting was subjected to some truly Great British Heckling.
