Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation gin ad uses the Peloton ad woman in a bit of marketing genius
You will probably be aware of a Christmas advert for the static bike system, Peloton, which has achieved notoriety because it looks like a really backhanded gift that only a psychopath would force on someone. Here’s how the advert goes.
The advert has been panned, making Monica Ruiz – the actor playing the wife – something of a household face, if not name, so when she showed that face again in an ad for Ryan Reynolds‘ Aviation Gin, everybody knew what she was drinking to forget.

This is definitely after she killed him while they were hiking. She pushed him over a cliff & she ran all the way back to her friends. They are her alibi because everyone thinks he went on the hike alone. https://t.co/NTgmTsFcVq

Peloton are going to want their fee back.
In the PS of the decade, someone tweeted this message to Ryan Reynolds.
