Trump said Zelenskyy didn’t want to go to the White House anymore and the Ukrainian president’s A++ comeback was perfect comedy timing
In the wake of the unceasing Russian attacks on Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy flew to meet Donald Trump in the US in the hope of hammering out some kind of peace settlement that isn’t just a Putin wish list.
But the Ukrainian president didn’t meet Donald Trump in the White House, rather Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida where Trump was holed out for the Christmas season and beyond no doubt.
The American president didn’t miss the opportunity to big up his property, obviously, even going as far to suggest that Zelenskyy liked it so much he didn’t want to go back to the White House ever again.
And we’re glad he did – in a way – because Zelenskyy’s A++ comeback was perfect comedy timing.
