Council workers accidentally cover road in cocks
Staffordshire County Council has been shouted at by furious residents after workers unwittingly left a road covered with penis-shaped markings after using the wrong paint, reports AOL.
The plan was to cover old markings on the road in Tamworth, but the wrong paint was used. According to the Daily Mail, one angry resident said: “It is terrible. The road looks ridiculous now, it is in a right mess. They are obscene.”
The council say that ‘Our highways team are now working with the contractor to resolve the aesthetic issues on site.’
