David Bowie is in every video game
We all know Bowie influenced pretty much everything, from helping create the sleng teng riddim to also inventing the power stance that’s so recently been copied by the Tory party.
However did you know he was in also every computer game ever? Let’s look at the extraordinary evidence:
Bowie is Zangoose in Pokemon

Bowie is Kane in Shining Force

Bowie is Miles Edgeworth in Ace Attorney

Bowie is Blanka in Street Fighter

Bowie is Raziel in Legecy of Kain: Soul Reaver

Bowie is Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes

Bowie is Sanji in One Piece: Grand Adventure

Bowie is Demyx in Kingdom Hearts II

And Bowie is pretty much EVERYONE in the Final Fantasy games. Look!
Bowie is Emporer Mateus in Final Fantasy II

Bowie is Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII

Bowie is Seifer Almasy in Fianl Fantasy VIII

Bowie is Zidane in Final Fantasy IX

Bowie is Balthier in Final Fantasy XII

Bowie is Squall in Fianl Fanstasy VII

Bowie is Balthier in Final Fantasy XII

And finally, here’s one game he was definitely in

Yep, that’s right, Labyrinth was turned into a game for the C64 and Apple II. And here’s an interesting fact: Hitchhikers writer Douglas Adams did some preparation brainstorm work on it. He came up with the superb idea of making the introduction mirror the the back and white to colour introduction of Wizard of Oz, by having the game start as a text adventure and then, as you entered the magical kingdom, the game became a point and click graphical game.
