People are cheering Transport For London for biting back at a rude Twitter enquiry
Twitter user M_FRY10 wasn’t expecting a negative response when he asked TFL, “is there a reason for a lack of response to my recent complaints or it’s the customer service department having a signal failure too?”
And they replied “do you think that if you called people a bunch of incompetent wankers they would reply to you?”
And people are being broadly supportive of what the kids* will call a ‘savage clapback’.
- “Yes people think social media gives them the right to abuse people. Good on you for not taking it!” – Camille Araz
- “Please keep up this ‘customer re-education’ policy!!!! It should be official” – Mister Sylvester
- “That was savage, TFL… Customer service tweet of the month!” – Phil White Stalkers
However there’s also this from Neil who writes, “With the greatest of respect, the man is only speaking the truth. Your service is inept.”
And actually as point of interest we can’t find evidence that M_FRY10 called TFL incompetent wankers, just incompetent, however he *DID* call them “bulls**t c***” in 2012.
So what do you reckon? Is it OK to call TFL “incompetent wankers” or not?
