It shouldn’t happen to a vet… when a new mum giraffe kicks you straight in the balls

And to think, he only wanted to make sure April the giraffe’s baby was doing well.

April became something of an internet sensation after the world watched her give birth to her baby giraffe at the Animal Adventure Park in New York.

It was quite a moment.

And the good news? Mother and baby are doing just fine.
