EasyJet gives whole new meaning to ‘lovesick’ with sick bag poetry competition
EasyJet is giving a whole new meaning to ‘lovesick’ by asking passengers to write their best love poems for Valentine’s Day – on the back of an airline sick bag.
It’s being called the ‘world’s first poetry competition ever staged on sick bags’ (#lovesicksonnets) and who are we to argue?
Apparently passengers have already started to write on sickbags, sticking them back in the seat pockets for the next passenger to discover.
Check this one out. They even bothered to translate it.

Let’s hope that’s all they’re writing on them.
There’s a serious side to all of this – the best effort will win the opportunity to fly anywhere on the world on the easyJet network.
And no, you don’t have to take the person you wrote the poem to (but it might be a good idea).
