People are confused what Stephen Kinnock does to an orange (and our other favourite things from this Guardian Q&A)
Further proof that oranges and MPs don’t always go well together comes from Labour MP Stephen Kinnock’s quite spectacular Q&A with the Guardian.
It’s from a column called ‘How I Eat’ in which mostly famous, occasionally interesting people share, er, how they eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, that sort of thing.
Except some people were none the wiser exactly how Kinnock eats an orange.

Come again?
Legitimately cannot work out how he eats an orange or, however it is that he eats it, how it is apparently still on the plate after he has finished eating it

Why is Stephen Kinnock eating an orange from a plate? I don't understand any of this.

I tear at the strange orange orb with my incisors

It wasn’t the only thing people picked up on. There was also this.
“The staff in Costa recognise me from the ubiquitous memes about how stupid I am, it’s great!”
— Will 🗿 Clunas (@TheClunas) June 3, 2018
“they know me now, so the staff ensure minimal interaction with me by having my order ready”

Or, as someone commented under the Guardian article …
Costa staff member#1. You know that really boring and charmless guy who came in at about 7.30 this morning? If he ever comes in here again remember that he has a flat white. That way you can start to make it as soon as he walks through the door as to minimise any conversation other than what is necessary. Costa staff member #2. Cheers.
And then there was this.
I'm more concerned that he thinks oranges are lower in sugar than unsweetened orange juice!

To be fair, one orange will have less sugar than one glass of juice, but that’s only because it’s a lot less orange.
