As the Conservative Party Conference packs up its banners and leaves Birmingham, the spectacle of the Prime Minister dancing onto the stage to begin her speech as ABBA’s Dancing Queen blared out is a sight that will never leave some of us. That wasn’t all that happened during the three-day event, however. It started off badly, and got worse.
