This composer received the oddest complaint letter and it really doesn’t disappoint
Twitter users have responded to the exchange with tongue firmly in cheek.
You write music, Nick… but it’s SEXIST music. If the notes were people they would be Semibreves (like a man’s semi) Crotchets (like a man’s crotch) & Quavers… like crisps.
Crisps for men.Sexist.

Why do you (Nick Harvey) insist on writing music in either Major or Miner keys… 2 jobs which, throughout history, have been traditionally carried out by more men than women (not equal) (equal is the same amount) (Nick)?

One fellow composer, Stu Kennedy, had further criticism.
to be inclusive you should also use an equal number of white and black notes in your music. you racist!

Finally, writer, director and songwriter, Chris Hallas, said this:
I also can’t wait to re-read the whole thing under the guise of “A case of mistaken identity lead to a hilarious thread from this composer” on @ThePoke next week.
