Commuters came out in force for No Trousers Tube Ride Day
What started out as a prank by an American improv group has become an annual event on both sides of the pond, with this year’s No Trousers Tube Ride Day set to be the biggest yet, in spite of the chilly weather. The first event, which took place in New York, is recalled here.
But London has truly embraced the event, as these scenes show.

Had fun at the #NoPantsSubwayRide London #NoTrousersTubeRide in London today – nice, friendly group of people, lots of people smiling along the route. So warm on the tube, I was tempted to strip, too. (but not brave enough – maybe next year!) #London pic.twitter.com/VlbkuqermQ

Maybe this is the answer to Brexit – No Trousers, No Brexit – could be huge.
