The Prodigy’s Keith Flint died aged 49 and this story will make you smile despite the sadness
There were lots of amazing tributes to the Prodigy’s Keith Flint who died last week at the age of 49.
It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed.

And of all the things people had to say about him, what shone through was just what a lovely guy he was.

So sad about Keith Flint. Lovely guy and one of a handful of pop stars every generation that made parents go 'WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?'

And here it is again, in the words of the man himself.
One of my favourite Keith Flint stories, from his short-lived spell as a pub landlord. #ripkeithflint pic.twitter.com/skdyoNsR94

‘We’ve got an open fire and I’ve got about 60 quid in a pint pot on the mantelpiece because every time I light it, the Firestarter jokes come out and boom, I’m like, that’s very funny, you owe me a pound. The money goes in and then off to charity.’
And this is Keith on what he’d like to be able to say if he got to 65.
