This Nadine Dorries tweet hasn’t aged well – in two months
At its second appearance before the House of Commons, the EU Withdrawal Agreement secured by Theresa May was defeated by 149 votes, a distinct improvement on its last defeat when it lost by the largest ever parliamentary margin, of 230.
41 MPs changed their mind between the first vote, in January, and the one on Tuesday night, including Nadine Dorries, who may just wish she hadn’t tweeted this.
I will not vote for it and never could vote for a deal that makes us servants to 27 members states for as long as they want us to be that way. No deal looks extremely attractive compared to Mays bad deal. https://t.co/VbsZbpWxfh

Such a self-own was never going to slip quietly by on Twitter, which is why we have these glorious responses.
Fucking amazing. pic.twitter.com/TXLxdrdrEO

If Nadine Dorries can change her mind in less than 2 months why can't the public who have had nearly 3 years? #Brexit #PeoplesVote #TheresaMay pic.twitter.com/dl54HrYOSi

Nadine always knows what everyone else should be doing. It’s knowing what she should be doing herself she finds difficult.

If that weren’t embarrassing enough, there was another tweet.
Today Nadine Dorries voted to thwart "what 17.4m people voted for", according to….Nadine Dorries (6 days ago). pic.twitter.com/9q1OvfQhme

LBC presenter and author, James O’Brien – who invented the “Nadine Dorries Award for weapons grade Brexit ignorance” – had a theory about her vote.
Nadine Dorries voted for May’s deal! I’m prepared to accept that she did so by accident.

We can’t say he’s wrong.
I LIKE Nadine Dorries! She seems really easy to trick!
Has anyone fooled her into running into a painting of a tunnel on a wall? pic.twitter.com/NmZ7pon9fy— Duncan Jones (@ManMadeMoon) March 12, 2019
