This is how they do smackdowns in the House of Lords (and it’s a very British affair)
Here’s Lord Fowler, the former Tory cabinet minister who is now Lord Speaker in the House of Lords, getting very grumpy indeed after a fellow peer failed to do things the right way in the House of Lords today.
And it caused a bit of a minor sensation. In a very British way, you’ll understand.
Woah. Here's the Lord Speaker getting a bit shirty because somebody wanted the Lords to act like the Commons pic.twitter.com/CbodprDfvj

Knew today was going to be vintage Lords. It’s not even mid-afternoon!

Oh, this is superb.
"We do not have Points of Order in this House," said with the disdain only a shocked English peer could command. https://t.co/loS3fqXEkz

I thought they combusted if they spoke the words “House of Commons”?

He must have cast his protective "NONCOMBUSTIO!" spell just before he let loose there.
