The idea behind this four-handed ‘consent condom’ quickly unravelled – the only 4 responses you need
Sometimes the most well-meaning ideas are also the worst ideas … and this four-handed ‘consent condom’ might just be one of them.
It takes four hands to open it – one person holding down two pressure points while the other person opens the box at the same time – and is designed to highlight the importance of consent.
It was accompanied by taglines such as “If it’s not a yes, it’s a no,” “Without consent there is no pleasure,” and “Consent is the most important thing in sex.”
Except, well, people weren’t quite sure the ‘consent condom’ was the answer.

👏👏👏
Stunned at this. This doesn’t prove consent in the first place, and consent can change at any time before or after a condom is opened. How have they not thought this through?
