When designers create something for a public space, it’s usually made to be functional and attractive, but that memo seems to have been lost on its way to the person who designed this safety barrier on a shopping centre walkway.
If the design brief was “Make it look like your Auntie Mag’s legs in a pair of tights”, then they’ve nailed it – otherwise, erm …no.
