Janey Godley’s sweary version of Theresa May’s last speech is far better than the original
It’s almost the end of Theresa May’s time as Prime Minister of the UK, so this time next week, the UK will probably have one of the most dishonest and incompetent politicians as its leader – again. Naturally, she’s been making speeches, including this final one.
"I am worried about the state of our politics"
In her final major speech as prime minister, Theresa May says she sees "grounds for serious concern" about politics in the UK and around the world https://t.co/XmI603LJnO pic.twitter.com/2BvaYQuN5e

As usual, it was unimpressive.
Could this be the most boring speech ever delivered by Theresa May? An impressive feat, given she's basically saying the world is on the brink of collapse.

But comedian Janey Godley was ready to put that right, with her own version of Theresa May’s farewell speech, and this is how that turned out.

That’s what Theresa May should have said – if you’ve got to go, you might as well make some noise about it. People were more positive about Janey’s speech than Theresa’s.

We can’t wait to hear what she makes of Boris Johnson.
