The BBC Breakfast on-screen clock broke so they had to find a real one and it was an analogue delight
Like us, you probably take the clock on your favourite breakfast TV show for granted.
Except there was a bit of an emergency on BBC Breakfast today when the on-screen clock failed so they had to go and find a real one and it was a funny, rather lovely moment.

And here’s the person that everyone had to thanks.
Have been told by a BBC ANALOGUE CLOCK SOURCE that finding an analogue clock was a little challenge as there are “surprisingly few real clocks in this building. They're all on screens and in monitors.”

LATEST: the analogue clock has to also be cleaned beforehand with a wet wipe. more details as I get them.

Love it.
Here at the BBC we have the latest on screen graphics. When they fail us, just errr… put an actual clock on the table. #FridayFail @BBCBreakfast pic.twitter.com/9VXwlwgsmI
