This epic Kick Start crash is as as eye-wateringly funny as when we first saw it

We used to love everything about Kick Start – the music, Peter Purves, and the crashes. Most of all the crashes.

And they didn’t come much better than this one, not just the initial slip but everything that happens after it.

The clip was shared by the always followable BBC Archive Twitter account to mark 40 years since the BBC1 programme began – 40 years!
