Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily had the perfect riposte after he called Greta Thunberg a ‘spoilt brat’
Jeremy Clarkson used his column in the Sun to call Greta Thunberg a ‘spoilt brat’ and we only mention this after his daughter Emily Clarkson used Twitter to let him know exactly what she thought of that.
It began when Thunberg said this on Twitter and comedian John Bishop was moved to reply.
Here we go again…
As you may have noticed, the haters are as active as ever – going after me, my looks, my clothes, my behaviour and my differences.
They come up with every thinkable lie and conspiracy theory. (Thread->) pic.twitter.com/5rS2VpZj00— Greta Thunberg (@GretaThunberg) September 25, 2019
You are an inspirational person. You have breathed life into the climate debate that was failing to get the attention it deserved. Whatever happens with the world it is a better place with you in it .

Over to Emily Clarkson.

And if you’re wondering the sort of person who she could possibly have been referring to, you didn’t have to wait long.
@JohnBishop100 @GretaThunberg Wouldn’t it be nice if she learned some manners.

A woman doesn’t need to be polite to make a point 🙃

And a lot of men inexplicably took issue with her, so she took them down too.

A lot of ‘middle aged blokes’ are fathers. Many of whom have daughters. What we see with Greta is deeply upsetting. Greta is a child. A child in the spotlight. It doesn’t feel right. Sorry.

Hang on,I’m confused because if these men were acting out of concern they wouldn’t continually ridicule her for how she looks. Equally, they don’t have a problem with teenagers in the spotlight if they’re on the stage singing. At least not enough of one to mock and belittle them?

And it wasn’t just his own daughter putting Clarkson in his place.
