Women are sharing the really stupid things men believed about their bodies (and sometimes their own)
Women have been sharing the really stupid things men believed about their bodies. Or maybe that should be the things really stupid men believed about their bodies. Possibly both.
Anyway, it all began when someone called @wahweepop on Twitter shared what happened on a date with a guy which we’re guessing didn’t end well.

And it prompted a whole bunch of women to share the other stupid things stupid men have believed about women’s bodies. It’s quite the read.
doesn’t suprise me, a PE teacher at my school was around 40 & thought they only lasted a day? makes me think why do we seperate (biological) girls & boys for sex ed, when it would make much more sense for both sexes to know about each other’s bodies as well as their own?

My ex-husband honestly believed that women had fewer ribs than men until he was in his early twenties.

Like, all jokes aside, it’s actually scary how little men know about periods. I met a guy once who thought that women could control their periods: like turn it on and off like a tap. pic.twitter.com/XGngssGc5o

I knew someone once who thought a pregnant woman could get pregnant whilst pregnant so essentially she could be carrying several children in different states of development. He is married now with children, I wonder if he realises his error?

I once heard a boy say that women still had periods when they were pregnant, and that women could only get their periods at the very beginning or end of the month, never in the middle.

My ex husband thought that menopause meant your uterus fell out! He’s 50. https://t.co/V0Vjx5vIyQ

And not always women’s bodies.
I once had to inform a mid-20s cisman that he was circumcised. He thought he hadn’t been. 🤯

I hate to add insult to injury here, but this man even had a bachelor in biology (state college, fully educated in Wisconsin). He also referenced breasts once as “marmallary glands” in a winning moment.

We liked this comment too.
It’s good that you got the ‘how long do you think a period lasts?’ convo done on the 1st date. A lot of people leave it till a few more dates In.

Oh, and this. Poor chap.
My guess is ladies have repeatedly told him this as to avoid sex with him. He was just doing the math…
