Naga Munchetty asked Boris Johnson how ordinary families can relate to him and his answer speaks volumes
Boris Johnson was back on the campaign trail today, this time rolling up to the BBC Breakfast studios in Salford where he was interviewed by Naga Munchetty.
And it’s fair to say it didn’t go entirely to plan.
There was lots to choose from but we think this was our favourite bit, when Munchetty asked him how he was relatable to families up and down the country. His answer, well, have a watch for yourself.
.@BBCNaga: “Give someone an idea of what you are – what the man is like. Why are you relatable to families up and down the country? How can they relate to you?”
Johnson waffles on, again, and then brings it back to Brexit, again.

This is our favourite thing people said about it.
Asked on BBC how he is relatable, Boris Johnson struggles a bit and says "I've had a very happy and wonderful life".
He seems to think the Q is unfair and says it is "the most difficult psychological question anyone has ever asked me".Does he know what job he is applying for? pic.twitter.com/rydpPp1CSY

Although this is pretty good too.
A beautiful depiction of why all politicians, in my view, should be required to undertake mandatory psychotherapy as part of their role.
It is astonishing, though expected, that such a simple question should throw Boris Johnson off balance like this.#Nagapic.twitter.com/JyGk5950DW— Dr Lauren Gavaghan (@DancingTheMind) November 15, 2019
And that wasn’t the only weird bit. Listen to this story about the last time the so-called prime minister used the NHS.
Boris Johnson's cafetière story smells very fishy. 🤔#BBCBreakfast #bbcqt #GE2019 #GeneralElection19 #NHS pic.twitter.com/FZ4f2b58e7

And people could sense something coming. Of course they could!
Please, @MrMichaelSpicer, do something with this interview. Cheers.
