Rare insult of the week
There’s a whole portion of Reddit devoted to ‘rare insults’ and this one is a classic of its type.

Which prompted this woman – a self-described ‘old school patriot’ – to say this.
College students do not have to go in debt to get a degree. They can work their way through like many of us did before the day of student loans.

Well yep, everyone can get a job, right?
Except there were lots of people suggesting maybe times had changed. Like this person.
Bless you for wanting to help. Colleges cost $40,000 a year now. x4 years.
I'm a 55 year old man & the most ive earned in a year is $48,000. (A career choice I made; I'm happy)
I do not see a college kid getting a part time job with normal class/work load for $40k/year. Or $20k.— Sister Unity (@SisterUnity) November 12, 2019
