As you can’t possibly have failed to have missed by now, something called Mrs Brown’s Boys won Best Comedy at the National Television Awards on ITV last night.

The awards are voted for by the public but it’s fair to say a lot of people – especially a lot of people on Twitter – weren’t happy that it beat other shows that were nominated including Fleabag, for example.
