Leading contender for Q&A of the week comes this exchange which began with someone questioning why atheists should be allowed to take religious holidays if they’re not, you know, religious.

‘There was an attempt … to shame atheists and take away their holidays,’ wrote UDKGankyChan on Reddit.

Although, as NauticalAxis pointed out, it’s a little bit (a lot) more complicated than that.

‘Newsflash, people: you can celebrate culture and not be religious and you can be religious and believe in science. They aren’t mutually exclusive unless you’re a religious/secular fanatic.’
