This guy tried to take back a PS4 he’d given away and things got out of control
We must surely all have experienced that moment of regret when we suddenly need or want something we no longer have, like that delicious cheesecake, or our vinyl collection from 1992.
A Redditor named BlendedBaconSyrup shared a text exchange he had with an “old friend” regarding a tech swap they’d done a while earlier.
It started out amiably enough.

But it took a strange turn, seeing as the PS4 had been given and not lent.

That should have been the end of the matter, but it really wasn’t.

We’re guessing that friendship is well and truly dead.
These Redditors weren’t at all impressed with the old friend.

I don’t know what’s funnier, that he thinks a secondhand PS4 is worth $300 or that he thinks the police will give one iota of shit about his complaint.

Nope, that’s the kinda threat that people who don’t understand the basics of contract law throw around. Sorry your friend sucks.

If, like us, you thought the police thing was an empty threat …nope.

We’d like to have been a fly on the wall when they got back to him.
