‘Preston. The countryside and Ribble Valley is beautiful. An hour away from the Lakes and an hour away from Manchester.’

‘I grew up in Stoke on Trent. Has lots of great, well kept parks and it’s easy to get out to the peak district. The pottery attractions are decent, too. Not going to pretend it’s incredible but it’s certainly not the worst place I’ve lived in the UK.’

12.

‘Lincolnshire imo, some really ropey areas but a fab county with a city to rival York or Chester and as beautiful coastline as you will find.’
-stellfox-x

13.

‘Sheffield. I said what I said. I liked it there 🤷‍♂️’

14.

‘London. It’s fucking awesome. The country mice hate it for some reason but it’s brilliant.’
-deformedfishface

15.

‘People call Aberdeen a depressing hellhole but it has a really nice beach esplanade (when it’s not chucking it down) and great parks and hospitality scene. Really nice place for families to live, and has affordable rents compared to much of the UK

16.

‘Merthyr Tydfil. I’m not saying that as a joke either. The facilities and shops are great and it’s right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.’
-Shaam63

17.

‘Leicester. Recently visited and was pleasantly surprised at how buzzing the city centre was and the extent of food options.’
