People love the Obamas’ Les Mis review because they feel the same way (but no-one admits it)
People are enjoying Michelle Obama’s tale of what happened when she and Barack went to see Les Miserables.
The passage was shared online by Anita Singh and lots of people shared it because it’s exactly how they feel about musicals (although it’s not always that people will admit it).

I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t “get” them . I have no idea why people love them so much . Each to their own , I suppose .

Well, there is a clue in the title. It’s not “Le Joyeux”.

I had thought @MichelleObama couldn't go up in my estimation. I was wrong. https://t.co/F1WFk8wLGt

My opinion has always been: if there was an episode of Who’s Line Is It Anyway, where someone shouted out, for style suggestion, Light Opera, and someone for theme, French Post-Revolutionary Life, and then the improvisation went on FOR THREE HOURS – you’d have Les Mis.
