A DUP homophobe had his outdated views shredded by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid
We’ve seen people reacting to Jeremy Clarkson’s commonsense suggestion about Brexit and now we’re beginning to question everything we thought we knew about Piers Morgan after his and Susanna Reid‘s expert takedown of a homophobic DUP politician on GMB. It’s just glorious.
Piers and Susanna challenge former DUP Health Minister Jim Wells, who says he will refuse to watch Strictly Come Dancing in case he sees same-sex couples dancing.@piersmorgan | @susannareid100 | #GMB pic.twitter.com/Wc7lYLsIba

“I think you’re just an old bigoted dinosaur, and you feel challenged because you don’t like the idea of scary gay people around you.”
Jim Wells’ views are shared by some others in his party, which had been the prop pushing the Conservatives into a majority position, until Boris Johnson decimated the Tories. Piers Morgan may not be the most popular man on Twitter, but it was very much on the side of the GMB team on this occasion.
Well done @piersmorgan @susannareid100 for outing Jim Wells as a "Bigoted Dinosaur". Shame @Robinwindsor didn't get much air time https://t.co/mlBaDEFCSK

I feel so sorry for DUP Health Minister Jim Wells, imagine him walking through an English country village and accidentally see some Morris Dancing; that's his staycation absolutely fucked up the arse. https://t.co/LigYHePHU7

Go to any tea dance in any church hall in any part of the country. You will see old women dancing with old women.
One must wonder does Jim Wells think that's the sign of a moral crisis too?
Are we a nation of lesbian pensioners?
Or are people just dancing? https://t.co/ihokrkDYOJ— Claire Allan (@ClaireAllan) September 3, 2019
Gay people are not offensive.
Your views are offensive.
And outdated. https://t.co/evBRXbAZK3— Stuart Hatton Jr (@hattondancer) September 3, 2019
I had to check today's date to make sure it wasn't April fools day…
Honestly, in 2019 we still have to listen to this 16th century nonsense!#Equality https://t.co/cCvL10dgv7
