New McDonald’s mysteriously appears overnight

Burger News: Residents of Sherborne, Dorset, were left baffled today after a new branch of McDonald’s seemingly appeared overnight on the outskirts of the town.

“Yesterday I swear it was a field,” said local resident David Morris. “I’m positive there were horses or something running around in it. Now it’s a McDonald’s – I don’t even see any tracks left by the machinery that built it.”

“It’s all very odd,” said another resident. “I live about a hundred yards away and I heard no building sounds last night. I just woke up this morning and there it was – selling burgers.”

A spokesman for McDonald’s UK refused to shed any light on the mysterious arrival. “We keep our construction methods a closely guarded secret.”

“Do not question its arrival, just order a Quarter Pounder Deluxe with Bacon – or there will be dire consequences for the people of Sherborne.”
